The Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance
Working for a New Future for the Sauk Prairie on the Badger Lands.

Imagine...

Imagine the possibilities as we come together to restore the land where

the Badger Army Ammunition Plant stood for over 50 years!

The Alliance has completed prescription burning of more than 25 acres inside Badger! A big thank-you to Jeb Barzen and the International Crane Foundation for their integral role in planning and conducting safe, effective burns inside Badger. We would also like to thank our volunteers and the staff from the U.S. Army and SpecPro for their time and fire engine.

Our Goals
Our mission statement and goals were developed as part of our strategic planning process in the spring of 2002, after incorporating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
