The Jo Daviess Conservation Foundation (JDCF) is hosting an invasive species workshop this winter beginning January 21, 2012.  The workshop will be led by Cory Ritterbusch.  The workshop will cover woody and herbaceous invasive plant species and include hands-on demonstrations and invasive plant control methods.  The lectures will be at the JDCF office at 126 N. Main St. in Elizabeth from 1-3.  Field demonstrations will be held at Schurmeier Forest, 147 E. Reusch Rd., Elizabeth, IL.  There is no registration cost with the donation of 10 volunteer hours to JDCF.  Otherwise, cost is $40.00.

March 17, 2012 Field demonstrations - Schurmeier Forest: 1-3pm
